Llanbedr Walks

Llanbedr is surrounded by areas of outstanding natural beauty and to help you take in the stunning surroundings, enthusiastic members of the Community Council, in partnership with woodland owners – Coed Cadw, Snowdonia National Park Authority and the North Wales Wildlife Trust – have worked to make improvements to and map 4 specific walks in the area. There is something for everyone whether you’re planning a leisurely stroll or looking to tackle a more challenging route.

An information board in the village square shows the location of the woods and trails, you can also download maps and details here.

  1. History and Prehistory – Leisurely
  2. Rivers and Mills – Leisurely
  3. Chapels and Woodlands – Moderate
  4. Coed Crafnant and Cwm Bychan – Moderate/Harder

As part of the project, information boards and benches have been erected at Coed Hafod y Bryn and improvements have also been made to Coed Crafnant. All of this has been achieved through kind donations from our sponsors Magnox, Snowdonia National Park, Llanbedr Beer Festival, Habitat Group and the Gaynor Cemlyn Jones Trust.

Please remember to dress appropriately for the route and conditions – enjoy!
